evaluaci\u00f3n, diagn\u00f3stico y tratamiento de las enfermedades mentales como lo son los trastornos del comportamiento, trastornos emocionales y dem\u00e1s aspectos biol\u00f3gicos, sociales y psicol\u00f3gicos de las personas que afecten su funcionamiento.<\/p><p>Los psiquiatras se entrenan primero como m\u00e9dicos generales y esto les permite tener un amplio conocimiento sobre el cuerpo humano.\u00a0 Luego se especializan por 4-6 a\u00f1os adicionales en los cuales se especializan m\u00e1s a fondo en el cerebro, su funcionamiento y, por consiguiente, el efecto que tienen sobre el cuerpo los medicamentos y las interacciones qu\u00edmicas de estos \u00faltimos. El entrenamiento para psiquiatr\u00eda general o de adultos es de 4 a\u00f1os y el entrenamiento para las subespecialidades (ej.: paidopsiquiatr\u00eda, neuropsiquiatr\u00eda, psiquiatr\u00eda geri\u00e1trica) puede durar de 1-2 a\u00f1os adicionales.\u00a0 Los psiquiatras prescriben tratamiento farmacol\u00f3gico, solicitan ex\u00e1menes de laboratorio y estudios complementarios cuando son necesarios.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-eb9d2e1 elementor-mobile-align-center elementor-align-justify elementor-widget
