I am convinced that studying is the key to opportunities and that perseverance is a great internal strength that motivates and can lead you to achieve your dreams and goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">From a very young age, I have been involved with children and youth with special needs at the Panamanian Institute for Special Needs (IPHE) Col\u00f3n branch.  This experience was very enriching for me and positively shaped my life.  Interacting with these children, their parents and teachers made me understand at such a young age that all human beings are equal by our human nature, but at the same time, we are all different and unique due to our abilities, skills and qualities that make us special, valuable, and distinct from one another.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Today, I am a licensed psychologist with a Master\u2019s Degree in Psychopedagogy specializing in learning disabilities.  During my academic training, I provided support to children of the New Generation Movement, located in El Chorrillo, and I have experience working with learning disabilities in the public school system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I currently offer my services privately at Holistic Mind Steps, where I work with children and adolescents.  I offer assessments and interventions for learning difficulties and cognitive impairments that affect the lives and academic progress of these individuals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">I love, enjoy and live my profession with passion and affection.  I respect diversity and individual differences, and believe firmly that we all have different ways, styles and rhythms of learning.
